Lubbock, TX: 5/28/2006, 11 a.m. CST

Suffield/ Windsor Locks, CT: 5/28/2006, 8:15 p.m., EST
(I could almost see my house from here)

And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

from Four Quartets, "Little Gidding"

Dear Wise Will--
All journeys are returns.
My day, post-entertaining, has mainly consisted of watching various spoofs of Gibson's The Passion on YouTube. Does that count as the existential void?

I love those green trees! Thank you for sharing your delightful photos and your company during the trip. And Will, were you thinking of Tolkien's words, "The road goes ever on and on"?

Cheers,
